(2008-02-01) Dragging From Firefox To Thunderbird Mac

Yikes, somewhere in the move from the IBook to the MacBook, I've lost the ability to Drag And Drop text from FireFox into a ThunderBird message! I can Copy then Paste Without Formatting, but blech! What the heck happened?!?!

Update: can't drag/drop from FireFox to NVu either. Nor from Safari to either ThunderBird or NVu.

Ugh, someone associated it with using Migration Assistant. That's scary...

Here's an old piece, but it's from 2006 and makes a specific recommendation that's obsolete.

This thread from Nov'2007 is vague. Some people seem to have problems that go away after restarting. I'll have to check next time I restart, but I don't think that's it.

Oct update: somewhere along the way it started working. Maybe after some software update?

Nov17'2008 update: others still have issues.

May'2009 update: hrm, it broke again sometime.
