(2008-02-21) Nokia N810 And Tmobile

I tried out my OLPC-subsidized T-Mobile account at the local StarBucks with my Nokia N810 yesterday.

Finally got it to work after much hair-pulling. Finally realized that the login page (that you get after being redirected to T-Mobile in your browser, then clicking a link) had the form/fields hidden, because of some fixed-layout CSS games! Probably a side-effect of having a small screen. By hitting the move-right button in my "joystick" area, I was able to get into the form and enter my info. Even then I seemed to have some troubles, but that might have been due to case-sensitivity issue.

Eventually I got things working. Not just the web, but even Gizmo (just did Instant Messaging, didn't bother trying VoIP Over WiFi).
