George Clinton will be playing in NYC Jul08. Ooh, will be my first Live Performance for him....

• didn't start until ~8:50; George himself didn't come on stage until 9:30.

• like a big Revival Meeting (or an Alternate Reality Game). Major General Semantics games for his tribe (Tribalism).

• dang only 2 people in their Horn Section. Out of 22 people on-stage, including ~5 guitarists (one of whom is Diaper Man). http://blogs.chron.com/handstamp/archives/diaper.jpg

• one blond dancer, who seemed to be able to sing, danced like Laraine Newman doing a parody of someone from The Factory or a bad old porn movie.

• I caught a lick from Frank Zappa's Im The Slime in there somewhere...
