(2008-07-03) Judge Orders You Tube Give Viewing Data To Viacom

District Court judge Louis Stanton ordered Google to give YouTube viewing records to ViaCom.

The EFF notes that passing user names and not just IP is probably a violation of federal law.

Remember, you have little Privacy online (or elsewhere). EULA-s are bogus, and the government doesn't even have to let them be kept.
