Tech Crunch (Nik Cubrilovic) plans to build a new TabletPC (bigger than a MID) for $200.

Jan'2009 update: they have a 2nd prototype, and are calling it the Crunch Pad, and aiming for $300. The target User Story is browsing the web while watching TV.
