(2008-10-18) Olpc Update1

Finally did Olpc Update 1 - well actually 8.2.0.

Does Suspend And Resume really work now? Charged it up, closed lid, unplugged.

Oct19: dead. Hmm.

This and this says it should be working. Maybe I'm unrealistic about how much time it can stay that way.

Should probably test

• how long it stays alive with the lid up

• how long it stays alike (wakeable) with the lid down

Does this even matter? My goal was to be able to just pull it out for the boys when I want them to be able to use it. But that may be way outside reality, so the bottom line is I need to keep it plugged in if I want to be able to have them start it up quickly.

• Although for its target market, I think it should be able to last 18 hours while supporting occasional Mesh Network activity.
