(2008-11-26) Heiferman Ny Tech Meetup Stepdown

Scott Heiferman is stepping down from running the Ny Tech Meetup.

Scott ran a small organization meeting Oct21. Scott posted a bunch of semi-transcript notes there. (There's supposedly a raw video somewhere, but I haven't found it.) Notes there are ~75 tech-related MeetUp-s in NYC.

Sanford Dickert takes a broad look at its purpose (Nyc Challenges). I want to propose that the success metric for NYTM be the number of Start Up businesses that exist within the five boroughs that are part of the N Y Tech community double within two years and double the following year.

There's an election via online voting Dec11. There's a meet-the-candidates MeetUp happening Tues Dec9. You still have to pay $10 to attend! As of late-Monday, only 200 attendees out of 400!
