(2008-12-31) Scrollmotion Iphone Book Deals

Scroll Motion has closed some Book Publishing deals for the IPhone EBook reading channel, selling through ITunes AppStore.

I would expect these deals either

• involve crummy pricing (e.g. charging Scroll Motion 50% of the retail Printed Book price for each sale), or,

• only include a small number of titles per publisher, doing an experiment

Feb'2009 update: some prices

• Twilight by StephenieMeyers: $10 - this is far and away the most popular title

  • note this book is rather old by now; the paperback list-price is $11.

  • and it gets a bump from the recent movie

• GoldenCompass: $12

• FooledByRandomness: $16
