(2009-01-09) Firefox3

My FireFox auto-updated itself to v3 the other day.

Ever since then, I find that the fan runs constantly, and when I check 'top' it shows Firefox using roughly 100% of a CPU on my MacBook.

Going back to FireFox v2. I have 2.0.0.11 and can't find any pre-v3 versions on the FireFox site that might be more timely.

Argh, new bookmarks I'd saved in v3 don't appear in v2, of course.

Apr21 update: still having problems. Running latest auto-update version. Note I do keeps lots of windows/tabs open. And do lots of sleep/awake cycling. But still... didn't have this issue with v2.
