(2009-05-29) Bicking Pickywiki

Ian Bicking is working on Picky Wiki, an interesting WikiEngine built on Google App Engine.

• I just deleted the spam comments, which should last for a day or so (SpamWars).

  • The spams were from Google IDs - why is there no feedback loop to kill these accounts?

• Nice double-click-to-edit, except it still gives you the whole page to edit (with WikiWyg or equiv), rather than just a piece. I Commented.

  • hmm, in the past I've thought it best to edit a single node (Paragraph Addressable), but now I think that maybe giving you the whole section makes sense (and encourages people to give pages sections, or split them up into totally separate pages).
