(2009-10-01) Bracelet Racks

Jihi, being not just a Nyc Woman, but also an Accessories Designer, has scads of bracelets. Many open/close to be put on, others are solid. Storing these, keeping the chain-type varieties from tangling, is a challenge. Some HowTo notes...

In NYC I mounted a couple cheap plastic towel bars on the inside of her closet door. These mounted via 2 plastic disks that were screwed into the door, then the main rod had ends that slipped over those disks. So she could easily take the rod off to move bracelets on/off.

Now, with new closet, I couldn't find that kind of rod. After various searches, discovered (thanks to sales-help at Bed Bath And Beyond) that lightweight curtain rods with clip into little brackets are a good (and more attractive) alternative.
