(2009-11-22) Twitter Blog Clien Apis
Inspired by Dave Winer's latest piece on RSS: RSS will form the basis for the open distributed version of Twitter (Open Twitter)... it suddenly struck me that the Open MicroBlogging API shouldn't be necessary, between already-existing MetaWeblog API and Atom Standards options.
What's actually being used out there (to create/edit entries, do other content-creation)?.....
Looking by server/service
-
TypePad, other SixApart: seems like lots of XmlRpc flavors, plus ReST/JSON...
 -
Word Press: all the XmlRpc options (Blogger API, MetaWeblog API, Movable Type Api)
 -
Blogger: used to have its own Blogger API, now uses GData variant
