(2009-11-26) Twitter Metadata Beyond140
Dave Winer notes how Twitter already goes beyond 140chars for certain cases of Meta Data, but how they're a choke-point on other extensions. (MicroFormat, Semi Structured Data)
He goes on to suggest that Twitter client app developers won't take advantage of anything like this because they're too afraid of losing access to the EcoSystem. So he concludes they should just support an embedded language for letting users build new features. Domain Specific Language?

Chuck Shotton counter-proposes that client apps talk to a Proxy Server which implements/extends the Twitter API.
- William Vambenepe thinks a Proxy Server service should support many API-s.
