(2010-07-12) Android App Inventor

Google is releasing an App Inventor for Android. It seems like they're positioning it as Educational Technology to be coded by students and teachers. Is this closest to Scratch, HyperCard, VisualBasic, or Pro Graph? Will this be a good Language For Learning Programming?
