Diabeto uses a proprietary technology to make it easier for people with diabetes to upload their blood glucose readings into Diabeto enabled apps and to Livongo’s newly released iOS and Android apps, available exclusively to Livongo members.

Diabeto offers a consumer friendly connectivity solution called BirdieTM (because it’s shaped like a bird) that plugs into the serial port on over 40 popular glucose meters, enabling them with Bluetooth connectivity. Diabeto RedTM complements the Birdie , connecting to meters with existing infrared capability.
