A recent merger with Counsel Connect will combine the two services during 1998.

  • 1995 article says American LawyerMedia - the folks who bring you American Lawyer magazine, Court TV and a spattering of state legal newspapers - led the charge two years ago with Counsel Connect. (A Joint Venture later made the name Lexis Counsel Connect.)

  • 1995 Wired article says In 1993, Counsel Connect was born (Lexis was added to the name and the service a year later)...
