Litmus Test

originally a reference to using Litmus Paper to determine whether a liquid is an acid or a base.

more recently refers to Republican members of the US Congress blocking appointments to the Judicial Branch (esp. the Supreme Court) is they believe in Abortion Rights.

My own Litmus Test-s:

• membership in a Religious Cult

• regular viewing of bad TV: Soap Opera-s (even if Chiun would disagree), Spectator Sports, "news", Reality Tv, etc.

• interest in Spectator Sports in general

• ownership of Louis Vuitton paraphenalia
