Keeping kids active in NYC can be a challenge. I'm not trying to turn them into olympic athletes, just keep them fit, active, and skilled enough to not be the last kid picked in gym.
We started them in Martial Art-s.

[Ice Skating]: blech JiHi brings this up often, but it's expensive, esp when you add in taxi rides each direction to [Chelsea Piers].
