(2007-12-04) Michalski Brain Review10 Yrs

Jerry Michalski gave a demo of his use of The Brain after a full 10 years of use, 80k nodes!

• easy Auto-Complete of any word in any node name: for generating links to existing nodes

• visual (used to use Ecco Pro but frustrated by its non-visual nature)

• he keeps his Calendar in there (at least for conferences he's attending)

• seems to use Types (of nodes, links)

• no "edge of the page" (vs Mind Map)

• during Yi-Tan calls he keeps notes with pen/paper, does not use his Brain

• works in many Wiki spaces with people, frustrated at inability to search across them (esp since password controlled) (Multiple Thinking Spaces)

questions I didn't get answered yet

• how use Mobile? What about when Lap Top isn't convenient?

• does he put his whole Calendar in there?

• has he tried TinderBox?
