Finally got a Public Library card. Immediately put in interlibrary request for 2 books.

Apr30: added

• Bruce Sterling: Caryatids

(Note none of these were in my local branch. And the entire system doesn't have a copy of Steve Blank's book.)

May5: got email saying that Leonardos Shadow has arrived at my local branch.

May7: got email saying that the Bruce Sterling and Robert Caro are available now too. Uh-oh!

May21: got email saying Innovators Prescription was waiting for me

(interim): finished/returned Leonardos Shadow and Caryatids

Jun17: returned Black Powder (one son finished it) and Power Broker (read a few pages, looks good enough to read eventually, but too long to read now, esp on library deadline)

Jun18:

• tried to extend Innovators Prescription but it wouldn't let me, because it was on hold for someone else; took some notes, did some scanning, and returned.

• realized Robert Rodriguez was on hold. Had already bought it last week before my trip. So cancelled. Nothing left on hold.

Hrm, rather frustrating process.
