(2011-05-25) Eby Php

Despite his Python guru-hood, I've noticed Phillip J Eby using PHP for his Self Improvement business. Of course, his requirements there are basically Content (CMS), E Commerce, and Virtual Community, as opposed to other custom/functional software, so leveraging existing PHP EcoSystem makes sense.

This is making me think that, if I do more-software-driven One Man Show, I'll probably aim toward using PHP-based stuff for all those relatively generic functions, and then use something Python-based for the custom-function stuff. Apache URL-mapping should make that easy, though could have issues with things like Digital Identity across the 2 systems...
