(2015-06-26) Mobile Phone Cover Design Ideas

Last month is was bugging me that Mobile phones don't have return-to-owner info on the outside. Seems like an obvious need, regardless of whether people use "find/lock your missing phone" features.

Then I realized my Nexus Six has a clear cover! So I cut off a chunk of my Business Card and stuck it in there. Derp then realized that giving the phone number of the mobile wasn't very useful. So hand-wrote an ugly little card to replace it.

Then today, Number Two Son mentioned that his phone case is falling apart. And it suddenly struck me:

Barnes And Noble should sell phone cases decorated like Book Cover-s, or author portraits, or such.

• Having so many different phones/sizes is an issue, but starting with just the most popular wouldn't be a bad idea.
• Some people are already doing it: here's some cool examples. (Esp like the idea of a wraparound skin matched with a Lock Screen image.)
• You can have people make your own custom skin, like here. I don't know if they worry about Copy Right issues (I've seen some sites have warning about that).
• What book would I pick? One of Greatest Books...
