Pol.is is a web based tool for quickly gathering open ended FeedBack in response to an open ended question. Pol.is produces sentiment groups and other insights by running statistical analysis on voting patterns of participants in a 'conversation'.

Apr'2014: We originally conceived of this as tool for political leaders (Disputation Arena). Our early adopters have been in Data Science, Market Research and replacing Blog Comment threads. We built it for city scale conversations — millions of people in the same space reacting to each other and finding a ‘place’. Politicians are invariably slower to adopt technology, so we want more mindshare before we go in that direction.
