(2009-11-04) Mozilla Raindrop

The Mozilla people behind ThunderBird are working on Mozilla Raindrop, a Universal Inbox Fat Client (EMail, Twitter, FaceBook, etc.). There's a v0.1 prototype available to download. Python and CouchDB! A summary of the dependencies are: setuptools, twisted, PyOpen S S L, Skype4 Py, python-twitter, simplejson, feedparser and paisley. Hmm, what's the GUI? Ah, a Desktop Web Server built on Twisted Matrix.

Next steps: Calendar, Issue Tracker, Private Wiki, etc. to encompass OSAF scope?
