tricky part is not "ruining it for everybody"

I remember a newspaper article about a business in [Portland Or] who put in a hose/pipe that dripped water down from the top of an outside wall where people used to hang out
lots of NYC apartment garden ledges have metal lattices installed on top that makes it too uncomfortable to sit on

maybe a Public Shower would make this less "necessary"
