Fred Wilson wonders whether lots of companies (Digg, FaceBook, etc.) should focus on reducing their expenses, rather than trying to drive up their revenue (more like Craigs List).
A commented wonders whether Social Networking sites are more like TV shows (short lifecycle) than networks. Fred thinks that FaceBook and Twitter are more like Platform-s, compared to MySpace being more like AOL, and the former will have more longevity. I Commented that AOL was a Platform.
This is to contract Chris Anderson's position that Free may be the best price, but it can't be the only one.. (Free Stuff)
